Automobile assembly line SKD CKD

Our automobile assembly line is a custom vehicle manufacturing production system specially developed for four-wheel low-speed electric vehicles. It supports both SKD semi-knockdown and CKD complete-knockdown assembly modes, helping factories complete body assembly, chassis matching, battery and motor installation, interior fitting and finished vehicle offline inspection for compact low-speed electric vehicles.

This set of workshop photos shows two core sections of the production line. The first view presents the ground assembly track. Low-speed electric vehicles are positioned on the floor conveyor line, while red overhead pneumatic tool balancers are mounted along the overhead steel frame. The hanging pneumatic tools provide convenient torque fastening for component assembly at each workstation. The second image features the overhead chain conveying section fitted with yellow lifting jigs. The overhead fixture suspends the whole vehicle body off the ground, enabling easy access for underbody chassis assembly and reducing heavy manual lifting. The combination of overhead hanging transport and ground assembly tracks creates a complete three-dimensional assembly workflow.

Production Line Overview & Process Composition

This production system covers the full assembly workflow of four-wheel low-speed electric vehicles: body loading, overhead hoisting for body-chassis mating, motor and battery pack installation, wiring harness routing, interior and exterior trim assembly, wheel mounting, fluid filling, vehicle commissioning and final off-line inspection. The flexible line design adapts to multiple low-speed EV variants, including elderly mobility vehicles, micro commuter cars, sightseeing vehicles, park shuttles, patrol cars and golf carts.

Body & Chassis Mating

At the core station, overhead yellow lifting frames hoist the vehicle body to complete mating with the pre-assembled chassis. The overhead conveying system simplifies body and chassis alignment and reduces labor intensity. Operators install drive motors, battery packs and suspension assemblies to build the vehicle’s power and running system.

Powertrain & Electrical Assembly

Workers mount drive motors, battery packs, controllers and wiring harnesses. Standardized assembly procedures ensure stable electrical connections, which is critical for the safe operation of low-speed electric vehicles. Overhead pneumatic balancers at each workstation help operators tighten fasteners efficiently.

Interior & Exterior Trim Fitting

Operators fit seats, instrument panels, doors, lamps and exterior body panels. The modular workstation design supports fast model switching and mixed production under SKD and CKD assembly modes.

Finished Vehicle Debugging & Inspection

After assembly, every vehicle undergoes comprehensive offline testing. Technicians verify driving performance, braking response and all electrical functions. Vehicles that fail inspection will go through rework before final delivery.
