All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) are rugged off-road four-wheel vehicles widely used for outdoor work scenarios, such as cargo transportation in mountainous areas, forest farms and agricultural farms. They also serve as popular sports & leisure vehicles for entertainment on beaches, grasslands and amusement sites.

By vehicle type, the product range covers recreational ATV, utility terrain vehicles (UTV), off-road BAJA buggies and go-karts. Our ATV assembly line is custom-built for these off-road vehicles. The main conveyor adopts double-speed chain assembly system. According to customer production requirements, we can also equip plate chain slat lines and roller conveyor lines.

The double-speed chain conveyor features strong load-bearing capacity and precise takt time control. Its flexible tooling design makes it perfectly suitable for ATV and UTV mass assembly.

2. Automatic Pallet Circulation & Mixed-Model Production

Combined with return plate elevators, the double-speed chain line realizes automatic circulation and backflow of tooling pallets, supporting step-by-step sequential vehicle assembly with stable production rhythm. Quick-change fixture mechanism enables fast model switching between different ATV / UTV variants, raising assembly efficiency and improving first-pass yield.

3. Space & Labor Saving

The double-layer structural design greatly reduces floor occupation, which is especially suitable for manufacturers with limited factory workshop space. The line can be designed with overhead suspended type or recessed buried installation to further optimize plant layout. Automatic pallet circulation and continuous process connection cut manual handling and workpiece transfer work, lowering labor cost and reducing human assembly errors.

Main Assembly Workflow of ATV Assembly Line

1. Frame Pre-assembly Unpack and inspect the vehicle frame. Install front/rear suspension assemblies, steering components and wheel hubs.
2. Powertrain Mounting Mount engine or electric motor assembly onto the frame, install transmission parts, connect fuel lines, exhaust pipes or power cables.
3. Brake System Assembly & Debugging Fit brake discs, calipers and brake pipelines, conduct oil filling, bleeding and brake travel adjustment.
4. Electrical & Control System Installation Install wiring harness, battery, lamps, instrument panel and switches, then test all electrical circuits.
5. Body & Trim Fitting Assemble fuel tank, seat, handlebars, fenders and outer plastic body panels.
6. Offline Full-Vehicle Function Test Start up the finished ATV, test steering, braking, acceleration, lighting and noise performance.
7. Final Inspection & Offline Visual inspection for appearance and fastener torque verification. Qualified vehicles are unloaded, cleaned and stored.

Main Line Configuration & Optional Equipment

1. Conveying system: Double-speed chain main line, return plate elevator, circulating tooling pallets. Optional plate chain slat conveyor / roller conveyor.
2. Assembly tooling: Quick-change positioning fixtures, servo torque tightening machines, pneumatic tool hanger system.
3. Quality inspection: Machine vision error-proof station, gas leakage test bench, full-vehicle performance test bench.
4. Digital management: MES system for assembly data recording, barcode traceability and production abnormal alert.
